Birth Village – The Natural Birthing Centre I did not want to listen about Birth Village, I never heard of this, I was not ready to take any chance. But she insisted to read birth stories on Facebook, she made me to like their page. I tried to read few stories, but not much help, my mind was completely fenced and I was not able to understand the terms on the stories, like midwifery, doula, VBAC etc. (To make your life simple, I have added this definitions section in the beginning of the book, thank me later J ) Nudges from her made me to read few stories, see Birth Village website. Seethalakshmi Iyer       Born into an Orthodox Religious Family which believed that knowledge & resultant wisdom would make their lives greater than monetary benefits, Late Seethalakshmi grew up in Calcutta till her teenage.   Her father was a learned & wise Astrologer while her mother was a pious & religious housewife.
